Recently I made two videos for the channel, as I thought it was relevant to both cities where I have beloved people and Toastmasters friends. I made one in English and one in Spanish.

I have received nice feedback from members in Mexico and Berlin, so I think they are happy to see that there are different ways to express our love for this career of leadership and communication.

Speak English and meet people

English has been a great asset for my personal and professional life, and I try to keep learning every day. Of course, when we have the chance to make something better, in a good environment and also work for other people, becoming better is also fun.

I am learning German, but being completely different to Spanish -or English-, its not an easy task. Having the chance to speak English and meet expats or people from all over the world, is one of the most rewarding things that a Toastmaster Club can offer.

Before coming to Berlin, I knew that finding my speaking peers would be a grand opportunity to belong, to be part of something immediately and stop worrying about being new in town.

Practicing is what makes us masters

We have a Toastmasters Club in English here in Berlin. We meetup every 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday at 7:15 in St. Lukas Kirsche to practice public speaking…don’t worry for that big set of words:

“public speaking”

Even if you are not a professional speaker of a trainer, communicating properly is really important for your life. Asking for jobs, making proposals, flirting, selling… in various scenarios we need a set of skills to be less afraid of talking, giving a message, motivating others, even persuading them to do what we want them to do.

For now, I just want to tell you:

Don’t think it twice, come to Center Berlin for our next meeting and see for yourself, how positive and friendly, Toastmasters can be.

Check more on our website and make some time for yourself, giving yourself the oppportunity to develop at your own pace.
